Registration
In order to use the service you have to be registered as a customer so that you are covered by our insurance policy. From April 1st 2008 we are asking all customers to pay an annual registration fee of £8 which will contribute towards our insurance costs. We also need to see some identification. You will be asked to produce a document showing both your name and address. Suitable documents are:

Once we have completed the registration form we will help you to choose the equipment most suited to your needs and make sure that you are happy and comfortable using it. There is a small training area outside the office. The whole procedure usually takes 15 minutes or less and then you are free to access the town centre as you wish. After the first visit collecting a piece of equipment should take only a couple of minutes, especially if you remember to pre-book. Apart from the annual registration fee there are no further set fees to use the scheme but we do ask customers to make a donation to our maintenance and repair fund when they borrow equipment. All customers using our equipment and all blue badge holders are able to receive a free ticket to park in The Chimes car park. |
