On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays there is a member of staff available to accompany a scooter user, or to push a manual wheelchair for a maximum of two hours.

We charge £5.00 for this additional service.

It is essential to pre-book this service.

We have a number of manual wheelchairs available for hire for periods of up to 6 weeks which may be used outside Uxbridge town centre. We have these wheelchairs insured for use anywhere within the United Kingdom hence the name "holiday hire", however if you wish to take the wheelchairs abroad on your holiday you will need to organise your own insurance cover. The wheelchairs are complete with footrests, cushions and shopping bags.

The charges for the holiday hire service are:

• £7.00 for overnight loans (Mondays to Fridays)
• £7.00 for a weekend (pick up Saturday return Monday)
• £15.00 for a week

There is also an additional £15.00 cash deposit required.

We ask customers to pay both the charge and the deposit when collecting the chair from the office.

You need to be a registered customer of Hillingdon Shopmobility

It will cost you £50 for the week or part of.

A deposit of £150, which you will get back once you have returned the scooter in the same condition it went out in.

Instructions on heath and safety and how to use will be given before you take the scooter away. An information sheet with easy instructions will come with the scooter.

(Please note there is no delivery option - all equipment must be picked up and delivered back to the office)
